Leigh Genesis FC release the news of the passing away of our very own Alan Healey after over a year of health problems.
Alan has been our resident sound systems guru and attended almost every presentation night to watch the bright eyes of our players receive their awards. Alan made it so special as they trotted up to the stage with snippets of exciting music tracks to help make them feel so special.
Prior to the formation of Genesis, Alan did the presentations for Leigh RMI and their Junior section and when Genesis were created he did them for our first team when they were playing semi pro level. Altogether we estimate Alan did over 50 presentations and always helped to deliver a magnificent show.
A lovely man, who had a huge interest in technology, Alan has left us reflecting on some really successful and happy times, fond memories, kindness and friendship.
Alan is irreplaceable and thats the way it shall be.
Our thoughts are with his wife Lindsay and his family through this difficult time.
Club Officials will be attending the funeral to mark our respect.
