U10's Cosmos Triumph In Community partnership Plate final

Cosmos knew that they had to play the nice passing free flowing football they have become used to, to beat a very tactical and aggressive Breighmet Wanderers Arrow team.

From the minute the referee whistle blew, cosmos played that free flowing passing football, this was the secret weapon to allow cosmos to get there hands on the Community partnership Plate.

Passing from the back allowed cosmos to get in dangerous positions and after 8 minutes a free kick was awarded 20 yards from the
Breighmet Wanderers Arrows net, Captain Reece Bushell stepped up and scored a truly fantastic goal. Cosmos continued to hold there discipline passing nicely to the end of the 1st half.

Cosmos continued to show the 3 key elements manager and coach Craig Dean expects; Pride, Passion and Desire, these 3 elements allowed Cosmos to defend the aggressive football coming from Breighmet Wanderers Arrows, with 11 minutes remaining , Harvey Dean won the ball on the half way line and hit it towards the Breighmet Wanderers Arrows goal, a nasty bounce and over the goalkeepers head it went 2-0. Cosmos continued to play as a team, defending brilliantly and continuing to pass the ball on the floor until the final whistle went.

Manager and Coach Craig Dean said, all the hard work these lads have put in throughout the season in training and matches has been truly outstanding, the boys have listened taken on board feedback from myself and other coaches. Leigh Genesis and myself are extremely proud of every single player! Well done cosmos
