This can only mean good for Our Club...

Leigh Genesis are delighted to share the news that FA Coach Mentor for Lancashire, Timothy Tack has been seconded to the club for a period of 2 or 3 years.

This is a result of the Club requesting support from County FA to assist with our strong desire to improve all aspects of the club and reap the benefits of doing so.

Tim is a UEFA level 3 coach with an Academy football background encompassing Girls, Disability, Youth and Adult Football and brings skills and knowledge that will serve the club well.

Working very closely with Head Coach Lee Darbyshire this duo will push on with our previous super work with the implementation of our Football Development Plan (FDP) with the aim to further improve our brilliant success headed by Lee.

Tim's initial focus will be to support the U18 Comet Girls and develop a management structure within the team that will serve it well for future years. The Club has never had an Adult Women Team and we do not want this opportunity to slip away like others have done in previous seasons.

Tim will be down during the week for training sessions and at Lowton during weekends to support the club with further coach mentoring and assisting the club with managing the site. Tim is aware of our FDP and our obligations to the Football Foundation and Governing Bodies to foster and develop key gender / age groups within this club as promised with our numerous grant applications. Specifically he will support the higher end Youth teams, Adult football, Girls and Disability groups.
