In what was going to be a tough test for the girls with Stockport being a division above Phoenix, this proved to be the exact opposite with Phoenix putting on a show and cursing to a emthatic victory!

Phoenix started out the blocks quick with an early goal from Maddison Higson, Maddison then had her hat-trick within 12 minutes of kickoff. She was unstoppable! Charlotte Francis made it 4, with Maddison ending the half with another to make it 5.0 at half time. It was the Perfect half For Phoenix.

The Second half began with Stockport starting strong passing the ball around beautifully but our defence stood strong, Emily our keeper not having much to do but when she was needed she was off her line quick closing down and collecting the ball. Phoenix weathered the Stockport storm and it wasn't long before Rachel scored followed by Maddison with 2 more. Phoenix were then again in cruise control, Caitlin and Eva Williams also getting on the score sheet making the final score 11 - 0!

Rachel wills getting MOM for an outstanding performance creating most the goals, a real team player setting up others when she could quite easily of scored herself!

It was the perfect display for Phoenix and they are now into the semi finals, but am sure there are tougher tests ahead before claiming glory!!
