Leigh Genesis U17 Solar have Claimed the Championship of the Warrington League Division 2. Solar took on Bruche Athletic U17 in there last game of the season knowing victory would secure the division 2 title and promotion back to division 1.

Solar went into the game with injures and only men on the day. Solar werent prepared to allow that to dampen the possibility of claiming the title!
In what proved to be a very hard fought game with the players having to cover plenty yards throughout, goals from Harrison Sheary and 89th minute winner from Solar captain and Man of the match Dec Thomas, a backward header from 6 yards out meant that Solar had done it and the Celebrations started!

Solar Manager Paul said" The never say die attitude was clear tonight with the extra yards the lads put in to cover the injured players, they really do deserve this championship!"
